What a live lead brief should define
Real-time lead generation concerns newly submitted enquiries and the speed at which they reach the receiving team. Put a precise timing expectation in your brief: when the submission is captured, when it is delivered and when the team can respond. The word “live” alone is not a service-level agreement.
Match incoming enquiries to staffed hours
List the time zone, working days and contact channel your team uses. Decide what happens outside those hours and who owns an enquiry when the usual recipient is unavailable. This prevents a delivery schedule from exceeding the team’s ability to follow up.
Agree the handover method
Request a file, a CRM handover or another delivery method only if your workflow needs it, then confirm what is actually supported. Field mapping, timestamps, duplicate handling and failure reporting belong in the same agreement. No API or CRM connection is implied by using the planner.
Measure the part you can act on
Track delivery delay, first response, reachable enquiries and agreed acceptance criteria separately. A fast handover does not prove buying intent, and a larger daily volume does not automatically improve results. Use the first agreed batch or delivery period to assess the workflow.
