Pick the conversion event first

Decide whether the campaign is intended to produce product enquiries, demo requests or subscriptions. A crypto community signup may be valuable, but it should not be reported as a sales-qualified enquiry unless it meets a separate agreed definition.

Describe the audience in practical terms

For a business product, specify the company use case or role relevant to the enquiry. For a consumer product, describe the product interest and market. Do not build the brief around personal asset balances or private transaction histories.

Match the form to the next conversation

Ask what your receiving team needs to respond appropriately. An email and a product-interest choice may be enough for one campaign; a business demo may need a company name and use case. Keep questions relevant to the stated purpose.

Plan the first response

Specify who receives the enquiry, which channel they use and what the response should address. If the prospect asked about a particular product, that context should accompany the handover. Define the timing expectation before approving campaign volume.

Evaluate quality against the agreed goal

Use separate counts for submissions, accepted enquiries and resulting conversations. A rise in submissions with no increase in useful conversations is a reason to review the offer, targeting or qualification criteria. It is not proof that buying more volume will solve the issue.

Turn the checklist into a brief

Use the campaign builder to choose the category, market, quantity and fields. Add the relevant delivery or qualification requirements from this guide, then review the result before emailing it.
